Stefan Marjan

Unofficially, Stefan’s career began at age three, when he found a screwdriver and took apart every toy he owned to see how it worked. None of them worked again, but he understood them. That curiosity carried on through fighter-plane models and homemade prototypes no one quite understood, until he found out it could be a real job.

Officially, he started in 2013 at TEAMS Design, working mainly on Bosch products. He also worked on short contracts for Läderach, Pampers, EIDEE and PRILL.

From 2015 he focused on consumer electronics and electric mobility. He worked on the Unu electric scooter in Berlin, a connected armchair for Noumenon and smart-home hardware for Zipato. From 2019 to 2022 he designed the Bearcub 24 electric tractor for Ztractor in Palo Alto. He was then Senior Industrial Designer at MM Design in Bolzano.

In 2026 he founded his own studio for industrial design and engineering for injection molding. He leads complex projects end to end and coordinates engineers, suppliers and toolmakers through to production. Clients see him as a development partner.

What drives him is design that makes life better and the world cleaner, one product and one electric device at a time.
